The sea defence basket-type structure (1) is of mesh or perforated material of fully open formation and is filled with suitable material, such as stones, scrap, old tennis balls or similar clearly visible from the outside. At a distance from its outer edges, the structure is provided with bridging devices connecting its front and rear walls, holding them at a constant distance from each other. The width and/or height dimensions amount to at least approximately 100 cm, such as 200 cm or more, and preferably the width is between approximately 210 and approximately 250 cm and the height varies between approximately 130 and approximately 170 cm. The structure is made of gauze material formed by metal or plastic wire, or perforated metal or plastic plate material, preferably stainless steel. |
