PURPOSE: An internet education system and method is provided to mark an examination or guide an educatee according to an education progress of the educatee so that it can customize a request of the educatee or enhance an education progress. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of a user accessing a service home page, passing a member subscription procedure by inputting a name, a grade, an e-mail address, an education subject or a payment method, and receiving a member ID and a password(S1, S2, S3), the user receiving a set of questions extracted from a question database via an e-mail(S4), the user solving the questions and transmitting the solution results to a web server by inputting a button of a correct answer check displayed on a screen(S5), the web server marking the solution results, diagnosing them, and transmitting the diagnosis result to a user terminal(S6), the web server selecting compensation questions from a compensation question database or a question database according to the diagnosis result and transmitting the compensation questions to the terminal of the user via an e-mail(S7, S8), and the web server continuing to offer the compensation questions to the user terminal or enabling the user to select upgraded questions according to the diagnosis result(S9, S10).
