<p>The invention pertains to the field of underwater sports, and particularly to underwater hunting and freediving, and can be used for attaching ballast weights in order to compensate the positive buoyancy of a diver upon immersion. The technical result of the invention is an increase in diving safety, the improvement of performance characteristics, the possibility of finely adjusting the stability and buoyancy of the diver, the reliable slippage-free fixation of weight panels on the torso in various spatial positions while maintaining torso mobility, and the possibility of an emergency release of the weight system. This technical result can be achieved using a weight system for a diver comprising two weight panels, i.e. a back panel and a chest panel, shoulder straps and leg girths provided with locking devices, which is characterized in that each weight panel is made in the form of a flexible assembly of separate weights or in the form of a controllable flexible assembly of separate segments to which ballast weights are attached, and is capable of bending in different directions. Each weight is designed so that a subsequent weight can be moveably attached thereto, and comprises through-openings through which a tensioner can extend, while the leg girths are made in the form of a single closed strap on the opposite sides of which bearing members are arranged.</p> |
