<p>An electrical insulating material comprising 100 parts by wt of a thermoplastic polyester elastomer (A) and 1 to 30 parts by wt of a rubbery polymer (B). The material can be used as a formed article, for example, an electrical insulating cover such as a wiring cover, and has the same characteristics as those comprising a conventional thermoplastic polyester elastomer, and also retains good electrical insulating properties even under a circumstance wherein it is exposed to moisture. A method for fixing a formed article comprising a material containing a polyester resin, wherein the formed article is fixed using a fixing member which has a Zn content of 1 wt % or less and/or a Pb content of 0.03 wt % or less at least at a portion contacting with the formed article. The method allows the deterioration of the formed article at a portion contacting with the fixing member to be suppressed within a slight degree so as not to cause a practical problem.</p> |
