<p>Device at the discharge end of a rotary drying drum has two or more rows of peripherally staggered, overlapping, helical vanes inclined at an angle of 35-60 degrees, pref. 50 degrees with respect to the drum axis. The width of the vanes corresponds to a gap of plus or minus 25% of the distance between the vanes, and/or the height of the vanes. Also, the height of the vanes, decreases from row to row towards the drum end.</p> |
