The invention relates to a device for the personal securing of a data medium comprising a personal information zone (2). According to the invention, said device comprises numerous optical micro-lenses (1) made from a transparent material which are disposed on said zone (2) according to a personal pattern which can be read by an optical reader that is calibrated with at least one characteristic of the micro-lenses. The invention also relates to a method for producing said device, according to which the micro-lenses are applied by jet spraying drops of the material. The invention applies to any type of data medium, for example, chip cards or compact discs.
