PURPOSE: To provide a radiation sensitive resin composition capable of faithfully reproducing the design size of a mask pattern even by proximity exposure and capable of forming spacers for a display panel excellent in strength, heat resistance, etc., necessary for spacers and to provide spacers formed from the composition and a display panel having the spacers. CONSTITUTION: The composition contains £A| a copolymer of (a1) an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or an ethyenically unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride, (a2) an epoxy-containing ethylenically unsaturated compound and (a3) another ethylenically unsaturated compound, £B| a polymerizable compound having an ethylenically unsaturated bond and specified trihalomethyltriazines. A spacer is formed from the composition and a display panel is provided with the spacer.
