Process kills praeons, virus, spores and bacteria in minced animal residues, rendering them suitable for use as animal feed. Minced, dried and ground residues are fed continually into reactor maintained at more than 150 deg C and 250,000 Pa in the presence of hydrogen radicals. The minced residues remain in the reactor for at least 15 minutes, without exceeding the evaporation point of water or fat. An Independent claim is also included for a commensurate assembly. |
