The screw comprises a part of precipitation hardenable refined steel and has a bore point. The complete screw is hardened and it is corrosion-resistant. The screw head is produced by reforming one end of a bar section. The other end of the bar section is then formed into the bore point. On the screw blank at required positions and in required length the thread is produced by a rolling process. The complete screw is heat-treated and then a slide coating can be applied. The completed screws are sorted and packed.
