PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the total height of a main body frame and eliminate an intermediate stopper used at inspection and maintenance by a method wherein engaging parts are provided along the vertical direction on the side part of the main body frame and, in addition, a shaft, which engages with the engaging part by being projected, is provided on a bolster plate and an upper mold side bracket. SOLUTION: When a bolster plate 6 and an upper mold raise and the upper mold is opened, an air cylinder 2 mounted on a guide bracket 1 acts towards extending direction. A shaft 3 projects so as to engage the tip of the shaft 3 with either one hole 11 of a plurality of the holes provided vertically along the side part of a main body frame 8. As a result, the bolster plate 6 and the upper mold are prevented from falling. The engagement of the tip of the shaft 3 with the hole 11 of the main body frame 8 is detected by a proximity switch 12. Safety is confirmed by the lighting of a lamp on a press console panel. |
