Packaging for carrying goods comprises cardboard box with handle opening in overlapping ends forming its top side. A sheet of cardboard (1) is folded into four sections to form a box with channels inside, preferably extending in the box length direction, for carrying the goods. The ends of the sheet are glued together in the top side of the box, where an opening (5) extending through the two overlapping layers acts as a handle. This opening lies to one side of a fold line (3) for the two sheets in the top side, extending in the sheet cross-direction. The fold line and handle opening lie on opposite sides of the centre of gravity for the packaging after it is fully loaded with goods, due to the central length plane (L) of the packaging extending between the line and opening. The overlapping layers are glued together right up to the fold line, and the bottom overlapping layer includes an end flap (4) which supports the top side of the box against deformation when the box is being carried. |
