PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing fish bonemeal tablets comprising surely and stably compressing fish bone powder as a natural product without decreasing the calcium content of the final tablets. SOLUTION: This method for producing fish bonemeal tablets comprises the following procedure: fish bone powder is put to bacterial test and then sterilization treatment; 88 wt.% of the sterilized fish bone powder, 10 wt.% of cattle bone powder and 2 wt.% of a sucrose ester are mixed together; the resultant mixture is charged into an agitating granulator to make a granulation under agitation; the raw material thus granulated is dried further, and then charged into a compression apparatus to compress it; wherein the compression pressure is 1,000-1,500 kg/cm<2> . |
