METHOD FOR RELEASING MASKING TAPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for releasing a masking tape by which there exists no possibility of being peeled off of a coating film from the coating end part on an object to be coated at a time when a masking tape is released from the object to be coated. SOLUTION: An aromatic hydrocarbon solvent 3 is applied in such a way that the coating end part 1a and the edge part 2a of the masking tape 2 on a part 1 made of a synthetic resin are coated with a solvent. When the masking tape 2 is released from the part 1 made of the synthetic resin, the coating film and the part 1 made of the synthetic resin adhere with each other by using an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent 3 so that the coating film does not release from the coating end part 1a on the part 1 made of the synthetic resin.
