PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric shaver which can be easily used even for cutting hair as well as for trimming sideburns, or the like. SOLUTION: This electric shaver has a trimmer unit which can be rotated freely in its operation with an operation knob 12 fixed on a shaver body 10 between the storage position in the back of the shaver body 10 and the operation position where a trimmer blade 14 is erected and linked with a driving mechanism stored in the shaver body to drive it. The trimmer 20 has a comb 16 with which the blade top of the trimmer blade 14 is covered. The teeth 16c of the comb 16 are extended in the blade top direction beyond the blade top of the trimmer blade 14.
