The gauge for subcutaneous circulation has a positioning guide with a hole (15) extending on its vertical axis to receive a sensor or viewer (24). It also has positioning holes (16) to be aligned with marks on the skin and position the sensor hole in a required area on the skin. The positioning holes can be formed in a collar (14) on the lower end of he guide.
