PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple optical semiconductor device to meet the requirements for improving an accuracy of receiving and radiating of light in the semiconductor device, by fixing the device to a position on the mounting substrate with stability, when the device is mounted on the substrate. SOLUTION: The optical semiconductor device 1 comprises wings 11, 12 of two positions substantially perpendicular to a plane for leading leads 13. The stability is obtained on the plane by the wings 11, 12, and the device is mounted self-supporting manner on the substrate. Thus, the device 1 is surely stabilized on the substrate, and photodetecting and light-emitting lenses 14, 15 can be mounted with high positional accuracies. As a result, the device 1 becomes a product, capable of obtaining reliability. |
