PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical, efficient, and reliable wireless communication system in which wireless zones are developed serially, such as a speedway. SOLUTION: A plurality of wireless base stations are arranged serially for covering a linear wireless zone, and the wireless base stations are provided with first and second antennas for wirelessly communicating with adjacent wireless base stations and a third antenna for wirelessly communicating with a mobile station, so that data received by the wireless base station can be repeated and transmitted via the adjacent wireless base stations. Also, this system is provided with a first host station connected to the first wireless base station among those wireless base stations through a wire or wirelessly, so that data between the mobile station and the first host station can be repeated and transmitted through those wireless base stations which exist between the first wireless base station, and the second wireless base station, which wirelessly communicates with the mobile station.
