PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a half/full bridged converter which can accommodate an issue of turn-on loss and reduce noise, and has high efficiency and reliability. SOLUTION: This half-bridged converter includes a primary saturable reactor and a secondary saturable reactor, inserted in series with a primary switching circuit and a secondary switching circuit, respectively. While a semiconductor switching element is 'on', the electric charge of a secondary condenser of a snubber circuit in the secondary switching circuit is discharged via the primary switching circuit, the primary saturable reactor, and a diode series circuit. While a semiconductor switching element in the secondary switching circuit is 'on', the electric charge of the secondary condenser in a snubber circuit as to the primary switching circuit is discharged via the secondary switching circuit, the secondary saturable reactor, and a diode series circuit. |
