The safety cushion (1), measuring e.g. 50 x 50 cm and thick enough to prevent a young child climbing onto a seat (e.g. 30 - 40 cm), is compact, light and solid or inflatable - the latter might be better for transport and storage. It has adjustable stretch fastenings (2) e.g. of elastic on all four sides that can go underneath the chair or round its back to hold the cushion reliably in position.
