<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment with an alarm function which can be available, even if a user is not located near the facsimile equipment and that copes with the user, even if the user falls asleep two times and by which the user can recognize even the current time. SOLUTION: The facsimile equipment includes a real-time clock, a means that rings a phone, a means that detects an OFF hook, a means that sets a wakeup time, a means that sets a sleep time, and a means that turns ON/OFF an alarm function. The facsimile equipment starts ringing the phone set, when the alarm function is set ON and a time of the real-time clock coincides with the set wakeup time, and stops ringing of the phone when the off-hook state of the phone is detected. Additional two other claims are included.</p> |
