PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet which is excellent in electric insulation and corrosion-resistance and can reduce the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This R-Fe-B permanent magnet is composed of a magnet main body which contains R (R denotes at least one or more kinds of rare earth elements, containing Y), TM (transition element whose main component is Fe), and boron (B) as main components and a resin layer formed on the surface of the magnet main body, where the resin layer is formed through a solid electrostatic coating method and 20 to 70 μm in thickness. |
