METHOD FOR DRYING FABRIC FOR WATER JET LOOM USING MICROWAVE DIELECTRIC HEATING AND APPARATUS THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method of dying a fabric by mounting a magnetron to one end of a waveguide pipe and supplying microwave electromagnetic wave generated from the magnetron to the inside of the waveguide pipe to dry wet fabric from the water jet loom by passing therethrough is provided which improves drying efficiency, does not deteriorate working environment and increase productivity. CONSTITUTION: A cut groove(101,102) is formed at the center part of a rectangular metal waveguide pipe(1), a fabric inducing plate(104) is formed on the upper and lower part of the cut groove to pass fabric to be dried, a steam discharge hole(107) is formed on the side face of one side of the waveguide pipe and a magnetron(2) is constructed on the side face of the waveguide pipe on the opposite side of the steam discharge hole. A microwave absorption pipe(103) is attached to the upper and lower part of the fabric inducing plate.
