<p>An on-demand information provision method is provided for providing local information for a remote place effectively and easily. When a user runs browser software using a keyboard or mouse of a client and accesses a streaming server (S501), the streaming server transmits a Web page. The client displays the received Web page on a display (S502). The user selects desired streaming data according to the description on the Web page. The streaming server extracts the selected data from a corresponding database and streams it. At the client, the received data is expanded and reproduced using a speaker (S506).</p> |
