PURPOSE: A device and a method for producing caricature using Bezier curve on the network are provided for the general public in addition to professional graphic program users to generate a caricature without any limitation in the space and time by using the network. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing caricature using Bezier curve on the network includes the steps of transmitting real picture images to a server from a client's computer(S20), reading the real picture images(S30), transmitting and displaying commands for shape selection data and correction item data of respective parts of a face from the server to the client's computer(S40), transmitting the shape selection data and the correction item data of respective parts of the face from the client's computer to the server according to the commands(S50), setting position data of various reference points for respective parts of the face by the server(S60), generating images of the respective parts of the face by Bezier curves produced by the base data of the respective parts of the face, selected points and vector points on the bases of the reference point position data(S70), finishing the caricature images by combining the generated images and casting shadows to the images(S80), storing the generated and finished caricature images to the server(S90), and selecting the caricature images stored in the server to store again with the resolution of about 300-350dpi for preventing the decrease of the resolution in case of the image expansion(S100). |
