<p>An acrylic-modified epoxy polyester as well as its preparation is claimed, which is composed of 100 parts(weight) of the copolymer (A) of unsaturated fat acid-modified polyester and bisphenol A epoxy and 20-40 parts of acrylic polymer (B), and can be prepared with the method consisting of following steps: (1) alcoholyse unsaturated fat acid with polyalcohol; (2) add in turn with poly-acid, unsaturated fat acid containing at least one conjugate bi-bond, epoxy resin, then esterize them to obtain epoxy polyester; and (3) co-polymerize the epoxy polyester from (2) with acrylic monomers. Also claimed are water dispersions containing claimed acrylic-modified epoxy polyester and coatings based on them with low cost and excellent anti-rust properties.</p> |
