The distribution station consists of a mobile guide frame (2) on wheels and in which are fastened two driven and spaced apart endless chains (3,4) to which are rigidly connected holder units (7) for the material stacks (8). The holder units each consist of a support element (10) extending over the whole distance, and at least one clamping element (11) for the fixing of the deposited sheet-form material stack. The chains are constructed as revolving roller chains guided in vertically installed deflection rollers (5,6).
