PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor whose resolution is high, whose surface energy is low, and which maintains excellent image quality by keeping such an effect over a long term while no potential fluctuation is caused even when it is used repeatedly and mechanical and chemical durability is maintained. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic photoreceptor is constituted of a conductive supporting body 1 and a photoreceptive layer 2, and the photoreceptive layer is formed so that its contact angle to pure water at a position separated by >=1±0.3μm from the outermost layer to the supporting body is >=85 deg., and its film thickness is >=4μm and <=24μm.
