PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foaming and bonding mold enabling the simple insertion with less abrasion of a part to be foamed and bonded, bringing about good sealing action, also enabling foaming encirclement generating no stress, and suppressing the mold cost. SOLUTION: The mold for foaming a part 28 to be bonded to a plate for a car has at least one member 32 for demarcating a region 34 to be foamed and encircled formed thereto, and is equipped with a region 14 for holding the part to be foamed and bonded. The holding region is formed as a rigid insert 14, and this insert is equipped with a bottom 22 having an opening 24 for inserting the end 26 of the part 28 on the side opposite to the foaming and encircling region 34, the elastic seal ring 20 placed on the bottom part to surround the opening, and a press element 18. The press element can be operated in order to deform the seal ring laterally to press the ring to the bottom so that the seal ring is brought into contact with the portion of the part inserted in the opening from a lateral side to hermetically seal the inserted portion. |
