PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retractable roof wherein an upward movement amount by vehicle travel aerodynamic force of a roof panel in a fully closed state does not exceed a seal-out limit. SOLUTION: In this roof, a back-and-forth direction position P1 of a hooked stopper member (a pin 52) provided in a windshield frame 33 in a non- engagement state of the hooked stopper member 52 and a hooking stopper member (a hook 42) provided with the roof panel 31, and a back-and-forth direction position P2 of an engagement part in the hooking stopper member 42 assuming that the hooking stopper member 42 is moved to an engagement position without engaging the hooking stopper member 42 with the hooked stopper member 52 in a moving state of the roof panel 31 and a back window panel 32 to a closing position by a four-link mechanism 20 are separated by a prescribed amount L in the back-and-forth direction.
