PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device by which stable imaging is realized through stable forming of a toner layer, by suppressing the deflection of the cylindrical thin-layer member on a toner-carrying member surface. SOLUTION: This device is constituted of a cylindrical toner-carrying member 1 for performing developing by carrying toner and bringing into contact with a photoreceptor 12, a drive means 2 coming into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the toner carrying member 1 and to rotate and drive the toner- carrying member and a toner layer adjusting means 3, positioned on the upstream side of the driving means 2 in the rotating direction on the outer peripheral surface of the toner-carrying member 1 and to adjust the thickness of the toner to a specified thickness, to obtain a thin layer. |
