PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for manufacture of a carbon cluster, enabling manufacture of the carbon cluster with the same degree of high quality as that obtained in the case a high purity raw material is used, at a low cost. SOLUTION: A central part of a graphite rod 11 is bored so as to provide a hole part 12 which is subsequently filled with a material 13 containing a metal catalyst. By sintering the material 13, a graphitized carbonaceous formed body 10, which serves as an anode, is obtained. In such a case, a magnetic tape waste material, a magnetic coating waste material for the magnetic tape, a dry cell waste material containing Ni and so on are utilized as the material 13 containing the metal catalyst. |
