PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a stacking work of a large container precisely and rapidly by a method wherein a mark is provided at the central portion of a circumferential wall located on each side of the top part of a cover to indicate a position, at which an intermediate beam formed at the bottom of a container body is placed when the large container is stacked. SOLUTION: In the large container including a container body B having a corner beam 1a formed at each corner of the bottom part 1 thereof and an intermediate beam 1b formed between the beams 1a, and a cover C placed on the body B, a mark d1 is provided at the central portion of a circumferential wall 21 located on each side of the top part 20 of the cover to indicate a position, at which the beam 1b formed at the bottom of the body B is placed when the container is stacked.
