RIGID POLYURETHANE FOAM AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rigid polyurethane foam having excellent heat insulating properties, dimensional stability, and compression strength, of which raw material cyclic urea compounds can be easily produced by decomposition and regeneration from rigid polyurethane foams, and the characteristics of the obtained rigid polyurethane foam are equal to or better than those of the known rigid polyurethane foams, offering an effective recycling process of raw materials relating to rigid polyurethane foam. SOLUTION: This rigid polyurethane foam is characterized in containing a constituent unit represented by formula [1] (wherein m and n are each an integer of 1-10; and R<1> and R<2> are each hydrogen atom or an alkyl group) in an amount of 0.03-10 mass%.
