<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating zinc from a halogen-base liquid containing copper and the zinc. SOLUTION: In the method for separating zinc, the copper and the zinc are separated to obtain the zinc by a method for performing solvent extraction processing by bringing the halogen-base liquid containing the copper and the zinc and an organic phosphoric acid-based acidic extracting agent into contact with each other, in which the bivalent copper in the liquid to be treated is previously reduced to univalent copper and thereafter the reduction treating liquid is subjected to solvent extraction under conditions of >=25 deg.C and a pH 1.8 to 5.6 under an inert atmosphere, thereby migrating the zinc of the halogen- base liquid into the organic solvent.</p> |
