PURPOSE: An air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to uniformly distribute controlled air between right and left ventilation holes from a central ventilation hole and reduce the air flow resistance. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner for a vehicle includes a blower fan(5), a cooling heat exchanger(13), a heating heat exchanger(15), and a unit case(1) surrounding the blower fan, and the cooling and heating heat exchangers, and formed with an air conditioning channel(11) for conveying air from the blower fan to an outlet(25) via the cooling and heating heat exchangers. The air conditioning channel has an upper channel section(27) extended on a first side part of the blower fan downwardly for conveying the air from the blower fan downwardly, an intermediate channel section(31) extended downwardly from the first side part to a second side part of the blower fan in a first direction, and a lower channel section(33) extended on the second side part of the blower fan to upper holes(7,9) upwardly for guiding the air from the second side part to the first side part in a second direction.
