PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater placing method which places a huge quantity of reclamation materials while minimizing water pollution, and to provide an underwater placing instrument and an underwater placing ship. SOLUTION: According to the underwater placing method, the oscillation angle of a tube body 30 is adjusted, and when a lower end of a cylindrical member 54 reaches a sea bottom B, the lower end of the cylindrical member 54 sinks in detritus deposited on the sea bottom B. The reclamation material is squeezed through the interior of the tube body 30 in a manner making close contact therewith by screw blades 34. Then, the reclamation material squeezed out of a lower end 3010 of the tube body 30, collides with a rectifying member 52, and then it is directed toward the interior of the cylindrical member 54, followed by colliding with the interior of the cylindrical member 54, whereby it is upward filled from below in the cylindrical member 54. Further, the reclamation material 54 which has been declined in momentum (flow rate) overflows an upper end of the cylindrical member 54 out of the same, and the reclamation material which has been declined in momentum (flow rate) is sequentially deposited on the sea bottom B at an upper end of the cylindrical member 54 in a spreading manner, to thereby place the reclamation material.
