PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact type ocular hardness measuring apparatus which can measure ocular tensions and ocular hardness accurately. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with an emitter 3 for emitting air fluxes to sites P to be examined of eyes E to be examined, a camera 3 for observing and photographing the sections of the eyes E to be examined and an ocular hardness computing device 4 which calculates the capacity of depressions of the sites P to be examined as caused by air pressures based on the shapes of the sections to compute the ocular tensions and the ocular hardness of the eyes E to be examined based on the capacity of the depressions. The emitter 3 is provided sequentially with a nozzle 10 facing the eyes to be examined, a compressor 11 for sending compressed air to the nozzle 10, a regulator 12 for adjusting the air pressures, an accumulator 13 for accumulating air normalized, a speed controller 14 and a solenoid valve 15. |
