PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PCB decomposition treatment system for completely decomposing a PCB-containing substance such as insulation oil for a transformer. SOLUTION: This PCB decomposition treatment system is provided with a hydrothermal oxidative destruction device 120 and a sodium form monitoring device 110 monitoring a sodium carbonate quantity according to a difference between an overall sodium quantity and a sodium chloride quantity. In the hydrothermal oxidative destruction device 120, PCB is decomposed into sodium chloride NaCl, carbon dioxide CO2 , and the like by a dechlorinating reaction and an oxidative composition reaction of PCB carried out in a heated and pressurized reaction vessel in the presence of sodium carbonate Na2 CO3 . |
