PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent such troubles that a collar is loosened or extracted at high speeds from occurring, eliminate the need of many collars corresponding to machines for providing an interchangeability between the machines, and prevents rattling from occurring in the direction of a tapered shaft, by increasing the contact surface of a taper. SOLUTION: In a two-face arresting tool, the end faces of a BT shank and a spindle and a T-shank and the taper of the spindle are fitted to each other simultaneously. Collars with angles for dimensional adjustment are installed, opposedly to each other, between the end faces of the BT shank and the spindle. The collars with angles opposed to each other are slid each other.
