Thermoplastic film is produced by extruding a molten thermoplastic resin through a die, passing the molten film around a rotating cooling roller, and blowing a plurality of air streams over the film region contacting the cooling roller, the first air stream being directed at the initial contact region between the film and cooling rolldr. Enables stable film with excellent mechanical and physical properties to be produced at higher velocities as a result of uniform cooling by avoiding the formation of air bubbles between the film and the cooling roller. |
