PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press fit device having a low equipment cost even with automatic coating. SOLUTION: When, with a bush guide 7 allowed to abut on a rubber bush insertion hole W1 of a work W, a rubber bush B held by a press fit pin 8 is inserted in the work W through the bush guide 7, a coating agent is sprayed through a spray opening 41 during a time from a point of time when a flange D on the tip side of the rubber bush B is fitted in the inner surface of the bush guide 7 to form a closed space to a point of time when the flange D on the rear end side of the rubber bush B passes through, and adhered on the surface of the rubber bush B.
