The immediate display message technique on a mobile telephone system comprises switchover to a temporary call reception site selected by the callee in case of failure to make routine telephone contact. The messsage can be conveyed e.g. by SMS (short messages services), and by means of a mobile unit. The data programming system includes software covering the various alternate techniques.
