PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushion material which can be used for constituting a folding chair and has both ventilation and insulation performances of at least either one of the seat part and the backrest part to enable a user to comfortably sit on. SOLUTION: This is a cushion material 10 for constituting a folding chair 100 with a seat base material spread respectively on a seat part frame 21 and a backrest frame 22 foldable against the seat part frame 21 by attaching the base material to the frames 21, 22 by an attaching housing part 14a. On a part corresponding to at least any one of the seat part and the backrest part of the folding chair 100 on the seat base material, a double structure part consisting of a first mesh material in the surface side and a second mesh material inside are formed.
