Slug protection device, designed as continuous profile to be filled with water

The device is made of a suitable lightweight material in the shape of a u- or v-profile (1) and designed as a ring or a rectangle (2) the size of a standard flower or vegetable bed. After positioning it can be filled with water. A slug or other crawling pest will either avoid coming near the trench or be drowned. A refill on dry days can conveniently take place in combination with the regular watering of the plants.
