The present invention provided a novel human G-type lysozyme (LYG2) and the polynucleotide encoding the LYG2. The invention also provided the corresponding expression vectors, host cells, antibodies, agonists and antagonists. The invention also provided the method for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the diseases relative to LYG2 expression.
