PURPOSE: A cover of the container for instant food is provided, to allow the cooking termination time to be informed visually and easily by the visual change of a display means set in the cover. CONSTITUTION: The cover(20) of the container comprises a display means(30) for informing the cooking termination time, wherein the display means comprises a shortening oil(34) which is a temperature-sensitive polymer converted into a transparent liquid at a certain temperature. Preferably the display means comprises further a sticker(36) where various message and characters are printed, at the lower part.
