<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive after branching and connecting closure for an optical fiber cable, which improves storage efficiency and workability and has a simple structure. SOLUTION: Plural holders 32 for holding coated optical fiber connecting parts, which are formed into the length equivalent to that of one connecting part are provided, so as to slide in the longitudinal direction of the closure. Even if the fixing position of the connecting part is changed according to the length of coated optical fiber 3a of a main cable 1, the holders 32 are easily able to cope with the change of the fixing position by only sliding the holders 32. The holders 32 of plural numbers each are allowed to slide along guide means 36, and plural holding parts of the connection part are provided in respective holders 32, in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the closure. A base plate 31 is provided, so as to conceal a part of an opening surface 33 in the base part 7 of a closure sleeve 6, the holders 32 are attached onto the upper surface side of the base plate 31, so as to slide and a coated optical fiber slack storage part is provided on the rear surface side of the base plate 31.</p> |
