The device has a nozzle tip with a fuel feed channel opening into a collection chamber with nozzle holes and arranged in a nozzle needle with defined stroke whose free end forms a valve body of at least two stages with an associated closure region of at least two stages. One valve stage forms a seat valve and another a slide valve. Nozzle holes in only a first plane or in two planes are exposed to fuel depending on the needle stroke. The device has a nozzle tip (1) with a fuel feed channel (4) opening into a collection chamber (3) with nozzle holes (8,9) and arranged in a nozzle needle (2) with defined stroke whose free end forms a valve body (5) of at least two stages with an associated closure region (6) of at least two stages.
