The invention relates to a syringe comprising a syringe barrel and a ring (6) which is connected to the proximal end of said syringe barrel. According to the invention, - the ring (6) comprises two diagonally opposite holding parts (47) intended to receive and hold the syringe barrel between them; each holding part (47) is in the form of a fork, i.e. comprising a pair of arms (55) and a connecting body (56) which connects said arms (55) to the ring (6), the shape of the arms (55) of each holding part (47) being such that said arms can partially encircle the syringe barrel; and the arms (55) are made from a material having a degree of elastic flexibility such that said arms can be elastically deformed in order to receive and clasp between them syringe barrels (2) having different external diameters.
