PURPOSE: A power transmitter of a disc drive is provided to transmit power required for driving a pick-up motor more rapidly and precisely and to eliminate generation of backlash between gears constructing the power transmitter. CONSTITUTION: A power transmitter of a disc drive includes the first gear(42) for receiving power of a driving source, and the second gear(50) that is engaged with the first gear to receive the power from the first gear to transmit the power. The power transmitter further includes the third gear(60) that is engaged with the second gear to receive the power from the second gear, and an elastic member for providing elastic force to the second gear in the direction that the second gear is engaged with the first and third gears. A supposed line that connects the rotation centers of the first, second and third gears forms a triangle.
